Competition Act Framework for Merger and Acquisition : ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) formally begins in 2015. This year trade and investment boundary of ASEAN is emerging into a single market with free flow of capital and labor resources and productivities. Thailand is benefited from connected geological to 5 ASEAN member countries including Loa, Cambodian, Myanmar, Vietnam and Malaysia. The AEC opens window for merger and acquisition. In responding to merger and acquisition opportunities, the Ministry of Commerce by the committee of Trade Competition and its sub-committee is reviewing the merger and acquisition criteria under the Competition Act.
