Policy Brief: The Amendment on the Thai Commercial Code number 20th, published in the national gazette on November 10th, 2014 to be effective by February 11st, 2015.
The number 20th amendment of the commercial code aims to enhance fairness in the areas of guarantees, surety-ships and third-party mortgages by protecting the rights of individual guarantors and mortgagors. (More details click)

Policy Alert: Protection for electronic money users 
The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has set a guideline for protecting electronic money users.
Protection Guarantor Right Law
On 13 November 2014, the Government Gazette published the “Code Amendment Act. Civil Law (No. 20) 2557”. It will be enforced as of 12 February 2015. The Act consists of 24 scales.

CG News Update: ICGN Global Governance Principles 2014
The International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) revised the ICGN Global Governance Principles. As part of the process, it initially released the draft revised version to the one issued in 2009 covering the topics board of directors and institute.
