A series of fundamental economic and social changes have resulted in director's duties becoming more complex ans onerous. The role of the board has progressed from being little more than a "rubber stamp" to have more on compliance and performance responsibilities. This has increased the governance expectations of the stakeholders and, in particular, governments and regulators on the responsibilities, capabilities and caliber of Board of Directors. Board reviews are mandate for public listed companies around the world.
This course will look at board evaluation, the benefits and best practice. You will gain practical insights to get the best value out of the board's results assessment and understand current issues in this increasingly important area. The course will be delivered through practical case studies and interactive session to enhance your knowledge and update you on the elements of successful reviews.
