Recognising the value and contribution of the executive director on your board and the challenges faced when taking on the two roles of executive and director is a subject that often sparks debate. Evaluating and maintaining the balance between competing board and executive responsibilities is required to ensure the position is adding value to your organisation's performance. The Executive Director delivers an in-depth analysis of the two roles of an executive and a director through expert interview, case studies and practical tools.
You will examine the responsibilities and evaluate the relationship between the executive director, the CEO and the board, including way to strengthen these key relationships.
This course is designed for managing diectors and executive directors of professional firm, private companies and not-for-profits as well as chairmaen and non-executive director where executive directors are on the board. It is recommended participants have completed the Company Directors Course and/or have board experience.
